After a string of 12 wins, Elizabethton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Fighting Cyclones were not able to get on the board.

Elizabethton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Science Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
