Softball Recap: Navajo Pine Takes a Loss

Navajo Pine had lost nine straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 3-15 to make it ten. They came up short against the Rehoboth Christian Lynx, falling 22-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lynx this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-2 on Tuesday.

As for Rehoboth Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7. Considering they have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Rehoboth Christian's part, Shanoah Eddie was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most hits Eddie has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Leigh House, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Navajo Pine will challenge rival Hozho Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rehoboth Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe To'hajiilee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
