Soccer Recap: Atlee Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Atlee hasn't lost a match since March 27th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They never let the Highland Springs Springers get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Given Atlee's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Highland Springs are ranked 189th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Atlee pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four matches. As for Highland Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Atlee and Highland Springs will both be playing Patrick Henry the next time they take the pitch. The Raiders will host the Patriots at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Springers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
