Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Notre Dame Spirits came up short against the Oakwood Hawks on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Isabelle Anderson was her usual excellent self, getting 15 digs, seven aces, five kills, and one block for Oakwood. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season. Nalani Goulart was another key player, getting 24 digs and two aces.

Notre Dame's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-5. As for Oakwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Notre Dame will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chartwell at 5:00 p.m. As for Oakwood, they are taking a road trip to challenge Anzar at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
