Football Recap: Mechanicsville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against John Marshall last Friday, Mechanicsville came back down to earth. The Mustangs took a 24-7 bruising from the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kevin Garcia threw for 36 yards on eight of 20 attempts. On the ground, Nelson Morales rushed for 86 yards.

Mechanicsville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Patrick Henry, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coincidentally, Mechanicsville and Patrick Henry will both be playing Hanover the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
