Baseball Recap: Skyline Grizzlies vs. Bonneville Bees
It was a good run, but Skyline unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 16-6 to the Bonneville Bees. Skyline was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bonneville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played on Saturday.
Skyline saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacobus Klein, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaak Hansen, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and an RBI.
On Bonneville's side, Gavin Webb was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Mason Park, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Bonneville, the win got them back to even at 13-13.
As of now, neither Skyline nor Bonneville have any future games scheduled.
