Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Miami Country Day walked away with it. They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 59-27 win over the Palmer Trinity Falcons. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Despite the loss, Palmer Trinity had strong showings from Emma Esparza, who posted eight points and eight rebounds, and Aaliyah Wright, who earned ten points and six boards. Esparza is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sofia Laria, who scored four points and six boards.

Miami Country Day's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Palmer Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
