Baseball Recap: North Rock Creek Triumphs

While North Rock Creek put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Chandler. North Rock Creek skirted past Chandler 1-0. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by just one run.

Not much got past Hasten Conley, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Chandler off the board.

The victory made it two in a row for North Rock Creek and bumps their season record up to 11-4-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Chandler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Coming up, North Rock Creek will face off against Glenpool at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Rock Creek's pitchers better be ready for this one: Glenpool has averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Chandler, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-4 defeat against Kiefer on the 28th.
