Soccer Recap: Spearfish Takes a Loss

After flying high against Douglas/Rapid City Christian last Thursday, Spearfish came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the Rapid City Central Cobblers on Saturday, falling 10-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Spearfish haven't been shut out since back in August.

Spearfish's loss dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Rapid City Central, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Spearfish is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rapid City Central will challenge rival Sturgis Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
