Basketball Recap: Pembroke Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Pembroke and Oyster River squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pembroke had to settle for second. They lost to the Oyster River Bobcats on the road by a 66-48 margin. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 60-56.

Pembroke dropped their record down to 18-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Oyster River, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

As of now, neither Pembroke nor Oyster River have any future games scheduled.
