Soccer Recap: Locust Grove Now 11-1 over Last 12 Games

Locust Grove's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Mary Persons Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Locust Grove wouldn't have won without Nayely Bonilla Andrade, who scored the game-winner.

Locust Grove is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those 12 contests. As for Mary Persons, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

Coming up, Locust Grove will challenge East Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mary Persons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
