St. Pius X had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Artesia Bulldogs on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Sartans as they're now sitting on 18 straight.

Leading St. Pius X to victory were Aliyah Lucero and Grace Grady. Lucero had five digs and four aces, while Grady had 11 assists and four digs. That's the most assists Grady has posted over her last four matches.

They weren't the only good servers: St. Pius X was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 11 consecutive contests.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Artesia, they moved to 21-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

St. Pius X didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Albuquerque Academy on the 15th. Artesia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
