            Softball Recap: Ingomar Falcons vs. North Pontotoc Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Ingomar was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They came up short against  the North Pontotoc Vikings, falling  16-1. The Falcons were not able to make up for their  loss to the Vikings from their previous meeting  back in April of 2024.
Ingomar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Pontotoc,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-5.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ingomar will face off against Hickory Flat at 5:30  p.m.  on March 18th. Ingomar has given up an average of 16.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for North Pontotoc, they will challenge Booneville at 10:15  a.m.  on Thursday. North Pontotoc is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
