Baseball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

Bunker Hill lost against Pawnee back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Minutemen lost 23-7 to the Indians. The Minutemen's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Nick Rull was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brennan Fulton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Bunker Hill's record is now 2-6. As for Pawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Pawnee will be playing at home against Carlinville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bunker Hill will be paying especially close attention to the Indians' contest: after the Indians faces off against the Cavaliers, they'll take on Bunker Hill again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
