Softball Recap: Gosnell Beats Highland for Their Sixth Straight Win

Gosnell won the last time they faced Highland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Rebels. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on six straight.

Cheyanna Trapp was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Anna Claire Smith was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

Gosnell's record now sits at 7-2. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Gosnell will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
