Basketball Recap: San Marcos Takes a Loss

If San Marcos was feeling good fresh off their 60-33 takedown of Buena last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The San Marcos Royals had to suffer through a 73-37 loss at the hands of the Santa Barbara Dons. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Dons: they've now lost four in a row.

San Marcos' loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Santa Barbara, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

As of now, neither San Marcos nor Santa Barbara have any future games scheduled.
