Recap: South Granville Vikings vs. Granville Central Panthers
The South Granville Vikings fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Granville Central 56-7 on the road. With South Granville ahead 34-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Cameron Dennison had a dynamite game for South Granville, rushing for 203 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. Dennison was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. Chance Bass was in the mix too, providing South Granville with two touchdowns.
South Granville's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Granville Central, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
South Granville will head out on the road to face off against Whiteville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whiteville is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Granville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
