Volleyball Recap: Minarets Comes Up Short

Minarets was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Yosemite Badgers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Minarets now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Yosemite, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Minarets has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Oakwood on the 6th. As for Yosemite, they will face off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
