Baseball Recap: Rhea County Comes Up Short

Rhea County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-3 to the Roane County Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on Monday.

Rhea County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Roane County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rhea County will head out to face off against Walker Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roane County, they will challenge Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
