Basketball Recap: Joliet Takes a Loss

Joliet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-23 loss at the hands of the Shields Valley Rebels. While losing is never fun, the J Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Rebels are ranked 29th).

Joliet's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Shields Valley, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Joliet will host Shepherd at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Shields Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Twin Bridges at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
