Remington had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Moundridge on Friday. The Broncos were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Cambree Lawler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Remington let Kynzee Klaassen and Elena Bowling run wild. Klaassen went 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Bowling went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Margreiter, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Remington was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Remington's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Moundridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Remington beat the Wildcats by a score of 16-8 later that day.
