Volleyball Recap: Vail Christian Saints vs. North Park Wildcats
Vail Christian came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the North Park Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Saints also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
Vail Christian never let North Park on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-22.
Mary McClarrinon paced Vail Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. McClarrinon got some help from
Tenley Brasington and her 15 assists.
Jessie Allen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Vail Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for North Park, they dropped their record down to 6-17 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
After both having extra time off, Vail Christian and Calhan will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Calhan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Vail Christian surely won't give up without a fight. North Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
