Joliet West barely beat Romeoville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers' defense stepped up to hand the Spartans a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Joliet West in their matchups with Romeoville: they've now won nine in a row.

Joliet West hit Romeoville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Miley Aguirre, Jada Perez, and Emma Vugteveen.

Meanwhile, Plainfield North entered their tilt with Yorkville on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Foxes with a sharp 3-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Plainfield North were the better team in the second half.

Joliet West's record now sits at 2-3. As for Plainfield North, their record is now 4-1.
