Blake Cavanaugh Game Report: @ Benton Central

Passers beware: Blake Cavanaugh came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass as South Newton took down Benton Central 14-6. The season is still young and we're looking forward to more games like this from Cavanaugh.

Coming up, Cavanaugh and South Newton will look to defend their home field on Friday against North Newton at 7:00 p.m. The Spartans will enter the matchup having just beaten Faith Christian, so the Rebels will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
