Baseball Recap: Tempe Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Tempe's offense. They came up short against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks on Thursday, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Tempe and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Desert Sunrise, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5-1.

Coming up, Tempe will face off against Yuma at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes will need to watch out since the Criminals have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Desert Sunrise, they are taking a road trip to take on Coronado at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Hawks are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
