Baseball Recap: Drury Falls Short Against Ranked Mount Anthony

Drury is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Mount Anthony. The Blue Devils fell 6-1 to the Patriots. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Drury saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Faliciano, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Faliciano has hit this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Drury fell to 9-1. As for Mount Anthony, their record is now 5-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drury will challenge Smith Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mount Anthony, they will face off against Lyndon Institute at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
