Softball Recap: Wood River Gets the Win

The third road game was the charm for Wood River, as they earned their first away victory of the season. Everything went their way against the South Fremont Cougars on Friday as they made off with a 9-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Wolverines, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emmalese Nilsen was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Rylee Funk, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
