Splendora posted their closest win since September 13, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Vidor Pirates. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Splendora got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-27, 15-10.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-11. As for Vidor, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Splendora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Kountze on the 5th. As for Vidor, they will welcome West Orange-Stark at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
