El Dorado's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over the Galt Warriors. The Cougars not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 4, 2024 (when they won 42-0).

El Dorado got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Villa out in front who rushed for 57 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. What's more, Villa posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Rupley, who threw for 126 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.

El Dorado's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Galt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

El Dorado and Galt could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Cougars will challenge Liberty Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (640 vs. 195). Meanwhile, Galt (ranked 934th) will meet Amador (ranked 445th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
