Hartland strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the East Lansing Trojans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Hartland's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while East Lansing are ranked 93rd).

Hartland's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for East Lansing, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2.
