Taft has gone 7-1 against Holmes recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Taft Raiders will take on the Holmes Huskies at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Taft and nine for Holmes.

Taft fell victim to Marshall and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Holmes managed to keep up with Stevens until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Holmes lost 4-1 to Stevens.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Taft beat Holmes 2-0 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Taft since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
