Softball Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Montgomery Aztecs
The Fallbrook Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Montgomery Aztecs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
After dropping their season opener at home, Montgomery is headed out to face a Warriors team ready to give their home crowd a win. Fallbrook came up short against Helix on Tuesday, falling 11-0.
Montgomery came out on top against Monte Vista on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Aztecs walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Monarchs. The win continues a trend for the Aztecs in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now won three in a row.
