Softball Game Preview: Dawson Springs Panthers vs. McLean County Cougars

For the second straight game, Dawson Springs will face off against McLean County. The Panthers will square off against the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dawson Springs has given up an average of 15.6 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dawson Springs challenged McLean County on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cougars, falling 21-6. The Panthers have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kalyn Cotton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was her first of the season.
