Softball Recap: Waterloo Falls Short of Columbia in the Playoffs

Waterloo and Columbia squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Waterloo had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Columbia, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Waterloo nor Columbia have any future games scheduled.
