Football Recap: De Queen Comes Up Short

De Queen extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 3-4. They were outmatched by the Camden Fairview Cardinals and fell 48-14. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas football rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Cardinals are ranked 32nd).

As for Camden Fairview, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season.

Camden Fairview was led to victory by Demarion Robinson and Brodie Dow. Robinson gained 123 total yards and three touchdowns, while Dow threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. Robinson's longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Dayton Browning helped Dow out on the ground, picking up 93 receiving yards and one score.
