Volleyball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Zionsville Eagles. If the Cubs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison's offense was headlined by Nick Jines and Jackson Schafer, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Aiden Smith and his nine assists.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Zionsville, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Perry Meridian on the 3rd. As for Zionsville, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Franklin Community on the 3rd.
