Volleyball Recap: Blair Comes Up Short

The Blair Vikings came up short against the Monrovia Wildcats on Monday, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Blair was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Monrovia's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7, 25-12.

Blair's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monrovia, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blair will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Temple City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monrovia, they will square off against San Marino at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. San Marino will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Monrovia surely won't give up without a fight.
