Softball Recap: Galena Comes Up Short

Galena has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.39 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Fulton Steamers, falling 10-4. The Pirates have struggled against the Steamers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Galena's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Fulton, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-12.

Galena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fulton has already played their next contest (against Forreston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
