Meanwhile, Kinley did her best for the losing side, almost dropping a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Marion H's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.7 points. As for Genoa Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
