Basketball Game Preview: Cony Rams vs. Lawrence Bulldogs

Cony is 1-9 against Lawrence since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Cony Rams will head out to take on the Lawrence Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cony comes in on 12 and Lawrence on 14.

Cony will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Gardiner, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Cony simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Gardiner 79-50. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lawrence was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Mt. Blue 75-29. The Bulldogs is also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the ten contest they've won by 20+ points or more this season.

Cony's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Lawrence, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.

Cony beat Lawrence 54-46 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Cony have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lawrence turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
