Baseball Recap: Hale Ray Wins Going Away Against Academy of Science and Innovation

Hale Ray won the last time they faced Academy of Science and Innovation and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Noises blew past the Ravens 23-3. With that win, the Noises brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Aiden Brown and Owen Kelly did most of the damage at the plate: Brown went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Kelly went 3-for-5 with three runs and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Kelly a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John McVerry, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hale Ray kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Hale Ray pushed their record up to 6-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.7 runs over those games. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.

As of now, neither Hale Ray nor the Ravens have any future games scheduled.
