The Winlock Cardinals came up short against the Evergreen Lutheran Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Winlock took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-23.

Winlock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Winlock is taking a road trip to square off against Mossyrock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evergreen Lutheran, they will be playing at home against Forest Ridge Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
