Basketball Game Preview: Kaimuki Bulldogs vs. Castle Knights

The Kaimuki Bulldogs will venture away from home to face off against the Castle Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 70-15, which was the final score in Kaimuki's tilt against Moanalua on Wednesday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Menehune recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Castle). They came out on top against Kalaheo by a score of 52-40 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly 12 points.

Kaimuki's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Castle, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Kaimuki took a serious blow against Castle when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 61-4. Can Kaimuki avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
