Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Madison's 11th in Last 12 Outings

It's playoff time, and Madison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Battle Creek Grizzlies get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Tuesday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Madison's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Battle Creek are ranked 201st).

Jonas Craig and Jossemar Marcos scored both of Madison's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Madison is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-1-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those 12 matchups. As for Battle Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-1.

Madison has already played their next contest, a 2-2 loss against Stem Preparatory Academy on the 21st. Battle Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
