Everglades and Cooper City are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Everglades Gators will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Cooper City Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everglades is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 11-5 to Chaminade-Madonna.

Everglades saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Ramirez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cooper City had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Monarch by a score of 6-5.

Cooper City also got a good showing from Nicholas Potter, who didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Adrian Graterol made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, he also racked up two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aiden Pitti- Shortt, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Everything went Everglades' way against Cooper City in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Everglades made off with a 9-3 win. Will Everglades repeat their success, or does Cooper City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
