Basketball Recap: Homedale Beats Weiser for Their Third Straight Victory

Homedale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Weiser Wolverines by a score of 51-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Homedale is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Weiser, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3.

Homedale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-33 victory against Payette on the 18th. As for Weiser, they will welcome Fruitland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weiser is facing Fruitland at the right time seeing as Fruitland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
