Basketball Recap: Eufaula Falls Short of Charles Henderson in the Playoffs

Eufaula and Charles Henderson squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Eufaula had to settle for second. They lost 63-39 to the Charles Henderson Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Trojans are ranked 46th).

This is the second loss in a row for Eufaula and nudges their season record down to 11-16. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Charles Henderson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Eufaula nor Charles Henderson have any future games scheduled.
