Bainbridge had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Early County Bobcats 54-34. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Early County's loss came despite strong showings from London Sherman and Lailah Means. Sherman posted six points and nine rebounds, while Means had 15 points and seven boards.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bainbridge will venture away from home to challenge Thomas County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Early County, they will head out to take on Mitchell County at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. This will be the Bobcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
