Volleyball Recap: Adirondack Comes Up Short at Home Against Mt. Markham

Adirondack unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Mt. Markham Mustangs an easy 3-0 win. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-18.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adirondack will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Canastota at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Mt. Markham will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Waterville at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
