Softball Recap: Johnston Panthers vs. Middletown Islanders

Johnston put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Middletown Islanders. That's more bragging rights for Johnston, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Haley Boudreau spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings every time she's pitched this season.
